Use Case: Personalization of Total Rewards

Issue

One of the key components of the Future of Work is providing flexibility of rewards. People are different. However, reward has been mostly one size fits all. A Client wanted to introduce increased flexibility on top of the usual benefit options.

Barrier

While the Client wanted to introduce more flexibility, they did not have a single source of all the total reward components in one place to be able to provide each person with a complete picture of their total reward. In addition, the Client knew that they needed a tool to make sure this was administered in the most seamless way and intuitive for the employees to make their selection.

Solution

The Client implemented uFlexReward as the only system that was able to have ALL the detailed components of total reward in one place. With uFlexReward’s employee engagement module, every employee was able to see their current total rewards in an online tool and had an easy-to-use interactive tool to see the impact of various options on their total reward.

Benefits

Employees valued the flexibility. It was clear that personal circumstances (where you are in your life stage, expensive hobby, married with or without children, etc.) planned a part on how the employee wanted to use their flexibility. There were many employees who did not use the flexibility on their own but stated they valued the ability in the future to be flexible and align with their personal circumstances.
