On January 4th, the United States Labor Department stated that there were 10.6 million job openings at the end of November and 6.9 million unemployed people. That's 1.5 jobs per unemployed person! The number of quits also hit a new high of 4.5 million.  This is a real struggle for companies.     If employers do not adapt to this more “talent in control” environment, they will not be able to retain and attract the best talent required to succeed.
